Massage Helps Athletes

Massage Helps Athletes

Everyone is pushing their physical limits with activities like running, competitive sports, triathlons, cycling tours, and more. These over-worked bodies need repair and professional help to relieve their sore or injured muscles.  That’s where you come in….

Massage therapy has become one of the most commonly used complementary health treatments among athletes in the United States. With injury and illness rampant in the nation, more people are turning to alternate ways to treat and reduce muscle pain and stress. The Soma Institute is dedicated to empowering our students to expand and enrich their skills in order to translate into successful and rewarding careers.

Soma offers an 11 and 15-month program designed to train students in Clinical Massage Therapy.  Our students also have the opportunity as part of their teaching clinic experience to work with NCAA Division I athletes at Loyola University. This gives them the edge they need when they enter the job market.

If you’re interested in expanding your knowledge and learning more about Clinical Massage Training, call The Soma Institute and speak to an Admissions Representative at 1-800-694-5314.
